About this cartoon: One of the most shocking days in American history: President Donald Trump incited his most ardent supporters, many of whom were armed, to storm the U.S. Capitol on his behalf for the express purpose of overturning a legal election that he lost yet lied about being "stolen." Five people, including a member of the Capitol Police, died at the scene. Trump supporters marched through the halls of the building looking for key members to attack and possibly kindnap or hang (a gallows was erected outside the building), especially Vice President Mike Pence, whom Trump ordered to overturn the presidential voting outcome, which Pence had no authority to do anyway.
